Over 2.5 billion people worldwide – a third of us – have never heard about Jesus. More about that here.

A large ethnic group in Southeast Asia may be the next to encounter Christ for the very first time. MNN cannot name this group for security purposes, but John Pudaite of Bibles For The World says, “We have an opportunity to reach an unreached people group of about 880,000 [people]; they’re spread out over parts of Southeast Asia.”

He adds, “we’re able to print the gospel of John” in this people group’s language.

“The amount of printing we’ll be doing, and distribution, will hit almost every single household in this people group.”

Bibles For The World is a member of the Alliance for the Unreached. By describing Gospel opportunities like this one in Southeast Asia, Alliance members hope believers like you will take action.

“I want to encourage [readers] to join with us in the Alliance because this is our passion – reaching these unreached people. We know that this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached as a witness unto all nations,” Pudaite says.

  • Help raise awareness by drawing three lines on your hand. When people ask, tell them what you’ve learned – a third of us have no access to Jesus.
  • Pray the Lord will bless Bibles For The World’s new project so many unreached people in Southeast Asia encounter Jesus.
